Detroit Zoo Asian Water Monitor
Asian Water Monitors are closely related to Komodo Dragons.
But with less toxic spit.
They have the same forked tongues.
And the same huge mouths.
And the same lazy attitude.

Detroit Zoo Baby Chimpanzee
Detroit has a baby chimpanzee named Jane.
She is about month younger than Charlie and almost a year younger than Becca.
She is clingy like Charlie.
And she tries to put everything in her mouth like Becca.
But she has much bigger ears than either one of them.
Her Mom takes good care of her.
And she is super cute (but not as cute as Becca)

Detroit Zoo Penguins
The Detroit Zoo has lots of penguins.
With a giant pool for them to swim in.
Penguins are fast and Kerri was tired so there aren’t many good pictures.
They swim on the surface too.
