The leaves were changing by the river.
They were very colourful.
Very, very colourful.
Except for all the boring conifers.

Kouchibouguac had wooded areas too.
They included a bungee jumping snail. We don’t thin snails are supposed to bungee jump.
The woods were very colourful.
It was easy to lose Matt in them.
It was a nice October day so Kerri went for a quick swim in the ocean.
This piper had not yet migrated.
Hopefully he will still make it.
Kerri became the sun to warm him up.
But she scared off the heron.
Lots of heron.
But not all of the heron.
Way out in the ocean there was a seal.
On the beach someone had been eating crab.
But they missed the best part.
The beach was also very scenic.
But a bit cold.
Kerri spent a lot of our time in the Maritimes playing with her food.
Matt preferred his seafood in gooier forms that are harder to play with.
Sometimes even gooified and placed between buns.
Or easy to eat with a knife and fork.
Kerri’s dinners required shielding.
Except once in a while she got fish.
And sometimes Matt got giant buckets of clams.
Or made Kerri share the lobster.
So many lobsters.
We drove across the longest bridge in Canada.
It is also the longest bridge in the world that crosses ice-covered water.
It is made of a whole bunch of concrete.
And metal.
Did we mention it is long.
There is a hump in the middle. It was the most interesting part of the drive.
