  • Omaha Zoo Lemurs

    The Omaha Zoo has a lot of different lemurs.

    They all have weird hands.

    And are super cute.

    The ring-tailed lemurs were inside, so they had to suntan through a skylight tube.

  • Omaha Zoo Random Cute Things

    Yurtle the Turtle was at the Omaha Zoo. This is a problem. Yurtle the Turtle from the book seems to in fact be Yurtle the Tortoise, because he lives on land. When you create turtle stacks in the water, the turtles on the bottom need to strain their necks to breathe.

  • Omaha Zoo Birds

    There was a baby tawny frogmouth at the Omaha Zoo! They are suprisingly cute for their ugliness.

    There were also owls.

    And Ugandan cranes.

    And brightly coloured unknown birds.

    This one was brightly coloured and blue.

    This is a road runner. He refused to pose and say “meep meep” for the camera.

  • Omaha Zoo Aquarium

    The Omaha Zoo aquarium was a little bit creepy.

    They had shark eggs.

    And garden eels.

    They disappear into the sand whenever fish swim by.

    They had lots of fish.

    And crabs.
