We went kayaking in Bariloche.

Matt was in the back.

The angry birds actually camouflage pretty well in the rocks and branches on the shore. Much better than on green grass anyway.

There were mountains everywhere but it was cloudy.

And a bit chilly

We saw a fox

But we didn’t have a good camera because kayaks are wet.

And we were far away

Because kayaks are slow.

The church in Bariloche is weird.

It has these fancy stone like parts.

Around the stained glass windows.

But also a whole lot of bare concrete with rebar sticking out.

The art was weird to.

We missed the Bible story where old Jesus tries to give baby Jesus a high five.

From most angles it looks like Jesus is wearing a baseball cap.

You have to get right down next to him to see his face.

The wind was very strong in Bariloche.

This seagull was flying as hard as he could.

And getting absolutely nowhere.

So Kerri took roughly a billion pictures of him.

He didn’t understand why.

He’s just a seagull.

Minding his own business.

Soaring majestically.

She is such a strange human.

It’s probably best to keep away from her.

But that would require successfully flying away.

Which he really couldn’t do.

He was basically stationary.

Was he having fun?

Kerri was.

Cerro Campanario is a big hill we climbed.

It has good views of the lakes.

And back at the town.

There were condors soaring around.

But not over the prettier side.

Condors like the mountains.

Not the pretty lakes.

But they also like to eat rotting dead things.

So we don’t trust their taste.

We took a lot of pictures.

It was hard work to get to the top.

And we didn’t want to waste it.

There was a doghouse at the top.

Next to the gondola that the smart people took up.

But we’re not that smart.
