The Omaha Zoo had lots of lizards.
Some were pretty creepy.
Others were just bored.
The leaf-tailed gecko was in the dark, but he wasn’t sleeping.

This is a muntjac. It looks like a deer because it is a kind of deer.
But it has tusks, which are super cute.

The baby gibbon was born on April Fool’s Day.
But he’s no fool.
He looks where Mom looks.
Mom gets very tired of his antics.
This kid is a lot of trouble.
Is he sticking his tongue out at me?

Sleeping with the Penguins
We were supposed to sleep with the fishes at the Omaha Zoo.
But Matt decided it would be cooler to sleep with the penguins.
It was.
We nearly froze to death.
But penguins are pretty cool.
